Step Two: Pull Color and Contrast Scale

Choose a color from your jumping off point and find a pattern in a similar colorway but opposite scale. For example, if your wallpaper has a large floral print, pair it with a smaller pattern like a gingham or dot.

Step Three: Add a Third Pattern for Depth

Incorporate one more pattern that uses two of the colors from your original inspiration piece, ideally in a slightly larger scale to tie it all together.
